From the first Martial Arts class I attended in 1989 I knew that Martial Arts had the power to change peoples lives in a very positive way. I realised too the great responsibility that Instructors had not abuse this influence and to ensure that it was always used to uplift and enrich the lives of the students they taught! Even as an intermediate  student I was called on to assist in classes, at first this was a little overwhelming but it didn't take long before it became my passion! Not many people can boast that they truely love what they do for a living - I CAN!
Most families at some time in their lives have been involved in Martial Arts, mine is no exception - my Father achieved his Brown Belt in Judo in a little town called Dubbo, NSW. My brother and sister also studied Karate.
Even closer to home I live with a family of Black Belts! Both my children (ages 11 & 14yrs) are 1st Dan Black Belts, an achievement I am extremely proud of! Its wonderful to see the respect and discipline their Martial Arts training has brought to their family lives!
